Finding the film Helvetica,
changed my life.
Growing up in a small farming town in Connecticut, my days were filled playing outside in the dirt, dreaming up fantastic hidden worlds in the trees in our backyard, drawing old VHS covers, and crafting for hours with whatever supplies I could get my hands on. After years working as a wedding and portrait photographer, I decided to go back for my masters, but was unsure just where my creative path would lead. Right then, someone suggested the movie Helvetica, and it was like being given access to the secret society of creativity and design. It was like a light kicked on inside of me, connecting all the dots at once in the winding puzzle of my life, and I was hooked.
That little me, never imagined that I would one day grow up, travel the country, and make things for a living. All kinds of things. Illustrated things, animated things, photography, graphic designs, digital, analog, augmented reality; all different kinds of things.
My favorite part of advertising and design is using all of my skills and experience in my toolbox, and figuring out the right solution for the problem at hand.
I love making things. I've been extremely fortunate to work with some incredible brands over the past 5 years. But I'd love to hear from you on what we can work together on next.
