Designing Digital Graphics That Grow Online Sales
As Eddie Bauer was making the switch from catalog-based to a digital-first company I joined the growing digital team. And although Eddie Bauer had been around for near a century, they were still figuring out their brand's online presence.
In my time there, I lead email team and created over 40% of email assets, as email became the highest driver to the site, driving digital sales in 2020. I developed email templates and guidelines that provided consistency and higher design standards across digital. I brought animation to email and site that drove higher sales, as my animated flash sales were consistently among the highest performing assets. I also designed multi-channel digital promotional campaigns, worked on GTM rollouts, and worked on the 100 Year Anniversary digital assets.
For almost two years I lead the email team, producing on average 40%+ of the email assets as email was the highest driver of sales. Designed and delivered 3-7 emails per week.
Fall Flannel Campaign
For multiple GTM campaigns throughout the year I collaborated with the GTM team and designed email templates, promotional headers for email and the Eddie Bauer website.
In fall 2020, I worked on the GTM team to bring the fall flannel campaign to life. We collaborated to create a digital-first campaign from initial concept to final execution.
100 Year Campaign
In celebration of their first 100 years, the GTM team planned various activations in-store and online, as well as a mobile pop-up event with retail and VR experiences touring the country for the 100 Year Campaign. A landing page was created as the source of all information for the campaign, and I was tasked to create an animated map for the pop-up tour. Unfortunately, as Covid-19 swept the country in 2020, plans were considerably scaled back.
By bringing my animation skills to the digital team I provided eye-catching designs for email and web that consistently drove higher sales.
While my focus on the digital team was mainly email and web graphics, I also provided additional support to the social team by creating animated and static assets used on paid and organic channels.
In almost two years with Eddie Bauer,
I designed and shipped over 500 emails created for US, Canada, and international markets.
