Born in the tropical trees of my imagination, Canopy Hard Cider began as a tiny logo concept in a larger logo proposal for a national beverage company. The company was looking develop new all natural energy products and expand into new markets. However, once the company decided to proceed with a different product, leaving this as just a logo left behind in the dust, felt unfinished.

 

So, to scratch a little creative itch, I decided to resurrect the logo, and pushed forward to create the brand I had envisioned from the start. Since the original product was still in early stages of product development, I felt it was necessary to change the product name and highlighted ingredients for this project, and Canopy Hard Cider was born. I refined the new logo, developed the branding to include a color palette and illustrations, designed the can layout, and started to expand the brand system with supporting social content.
